How to set up v2rayN on Windows

v2rayN is a popular Windows client. It supports subscription URLs, so WersidePN can be connected without manual Reality parameter entry.

    Step-by-step setup

    1

    Download v2rayN

Open the v2rayN GitHub releases page and download the current Windows build. Extract it into a separate folder.

    2

    Run the client

Open v2rayN.exe. If Windows SmartScreen warns about an unknown publisher, make sure the file came from the official GitHub project.

    3

    Add the subscription

In subscriptions, add a new URL, paste the WersidePN subscription link and save it.

Do not paste it into manual VLESS profile fields. Use the subscription section.

    4

    Refresh the server list

Run subscription update. WersidePN profiles will appear in the server list.

    5

    Enable system proxy

Select a WersidePN profile and enable system proxy or VPN/TUN mode if your v2rayN build supports it.

    Checklist before launch

v2rayN was downloaded from the official GitHub releases page.

The subscription URL was added in the subscriptions section.

The profile refreshed and appeared in the server list.

No conflicting Windows proxy or VPN is enabled.

    If it does not connect

    Subscription does not refresh

Check internet access without proxy conflicts, copy the link again and make sure the token is not truncated.

Browser works but apps do not

Check system proxy mode or enable TUN mode if available in your client version.

    VPN stopped after laptop sleep

Turn the profile off and on again. Windows sometimes keeps old routes after network changes.

    Common questions

Can I use one key on Windows and phone?

Yes. WersidePN supports several devices within the account limit.

Which is better: system proxy or TUN?

System proxy is often enough for browsers. TUN mode is better for apps that ignore Windows proxy settings.
